An Early Christmas Treat

Hi y’all! So the other day I was walking along Melrose Ave with my web guru, Jeremy Davison, when we passed this empty gallery. It was all stark white, with one simple gorgeous vintage-inspired couch sitting in the center of the room. We saw it and instantly knew we needed to shoot something there, so we ran to his apartment where my friend Jennifer has this gorgeous emerald velvet coat. I was lucky enough to have some fun white accessories in the trunk of my car, and here we are! A magical little holiday-themed photo shoot. It’s not quite Christmas yet, but it’s never to early to get inspiration for your holiday style. Every year at this time, I always incorporate velvet into my wardrobe. The fabric is so rich and luxe, and the heavy material is fantastic for the colder days. I’m also a huge fan of dressing in winter-white, as we can see with the heels and clutch. Hope you guys enjoy the results of our impromptu holiday shoot!

A Little Cape Action

Cape: Zara | Boots: Stuart Weitzman | Handbag: Olivia and Joy

Oh, how I love a good cape! I’m starting to feel like capes are my security blankets. Whenever I’m feeling like I want a quick and low maintenance outfit, I always reach for a cape. I feel like it makes such a fashionable statement on its own, and it’s so easy to throw on. It can be paired with almost any type of shoe, but today I chose my thigh-high boots. (I’m taking advantage of this weather and breaking these bad boys out every chance I can). I also rely heavily on an all black ensemble when I need an easy look. Add a colorful accessory and an outfit that took 3 minutes to put together suddenly looks like you’ve been planning it for days. The next time you’re feeling lazy, give it a try :)

Sky Blue and a Dash of Fur

Here’s some little black and blue action for y’all today. This coat puts the biggest smile on my face. This shade of blue is my absolute favorite color and I love pairing it with fur embellished accessories to make it fall appropriate. I’m also wearing one of my necklaces from my new line “Elements” that I created with Shop Prima donna!! I would love for you guys to check out the line and let me know what you think!

Happy monday! I wanted to give you guys a little glimpse into my new home here in Los Angeles! I’ll be sure to post more shots of my decor later on! My fall must have right now is over-the-knee boots, and these are just delicious. I’m loving how low maintenance this look is. A simple shift dress, a pair of boots, a few jewels and I’m set! Enjoy :)

I think I may have spent a solid 35 hours researching iridescent heels this week. There is something about them that is so sci-fi chic to me! I’m really loving the gold/bronze toned ones for the elongating effect it has on our legs. I absolutely can not wait to grab myself a pair this week! So I spend a ridiculously significant amount of time looking at news/fashion apps on my phone. I just love looking to see what my favorite style muses are wearing; getting style inspiration feeds my soul! I figured it would be fun if every week I shared with you my favorite looks of the week! This week, I was DROOLING over the gowns at the LACMA film gala. It was so hard to narrow down my favorites. How stunning do these ladies look?

I just adore Kate Hudson, not just for her style, but for her magnetic personality. I will always say yes to a Kate Hudson film. Um… Bridewars? Yes, please. This Gucci gown, paired with red lips and those messy waves, is breathtaking.

Rachel Zoe is one of my style obsessions. I feel like half of my style journal is dedicated to her. She just really knows how to nail effortless glamour. I love the way she piles on jewels, especially with this bright billowy gown. Stunner.

How elegant does Camilla Belle look? I think this may even be one of my favorite looks of the year. The powder blue color. The sleek silhouette. The gold embellishment at the neckline. The earrings. The bracelet. The pulled back hair. The eyebrows. The glowing skin. The black nails. Okay, I’ll stop.

I love this romantic goth vibe on Evan Rachel Wood. The black lace with the deep neckline is so opulent and stately, while keeping the sex appeal.
